Join the Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange (RUX) team and lead RUX into its second decade!

An initiative of Art of the Rural, KY RUX is a statewide network that unites Kentuckians in common purpose through programs that strengthen intercultural leadership, narrative change, and civic health.
Over the years, 300 Kentuckians from 65 counties have been collaborating for Kentucky’s future. Each summer, the RUX is hosted in two regions of the state and is designed to help participants understand and value the culture, landscape, context, and people of each place.
KY RUX is a movement led by and for Kentuckians. These two new positions will be the primary staff leading KY RUX into its next decade, alongside core staff at Art of the Rural.

Network Manager
The Network Manager of the Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange (RUX) works to strengthen the RUX network through supportive relationships with the KY RUX Steering Committee, cohort, alumni, & partner networks, including management of the leadership program and supporting & evaluating RUX’s strategic planning process.
Communications & Development Coordinator
The Communications & Development Coordinator of the Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange (RUX) is responsible for uplifting the story of Kentucky RUX. In collaboration with senior staff and the RUX Steering Committee, this person will design, implement, and evaluate strategic communications to advance the promotion and development of KY RUX in its next decade.
