Third Weekend

Third Weekend brings together RUX alumni, partners, network members, and their loved ones for a weekend of connection & exploration.

About Third Weekend

In 2024, we launched a new offering for cohort members and alumni called “Third Weekend.” Hosted in the 2026 host community, Third Weekend is an alumni-led gathering planned by “third years” that provides:

  1. a launch point for cohort members’ alumni experience, kicking off their “3rd year” and giving them a first step in RUX leadership as the hosts of this event;

  2. alumni a chance to gather, build collaborations, and support the new cohort;

  3. the cohort an opportunity to gather after the Community Intensives in a relational atmosphere that is focused on welcoming them into the alumni network.

Who can attend?

Third Weekend is open to current cohort members, alumni, their loved ones, and membership program members. The weekend will include RUX curriculum and alumni-led experiences. This weekend is optional and self-pay, though we work with alumni and affiliates to sponsor scholarships and encourage folks to carpool and share rooms & campsites to minimize costs for members. Proceeds from Third Weekend will raise money for the RUX microgrant program.
