The Golden Thread 2023

Hosted on site in partnership with the Waterfront Botanical Gardens (Louisville)

This celebration of Kentucky foodways, artists, and thought leaders included Secretary Michael Adams, Charles Booker, Baylen Campbell, Hannah Edelen, Brittney Hernandez-Stevenson, Christine Thompson, and more. A curated culinary experience was provided by Chef Susan Hershberg (Louisville) and Jenny Williams (Hazard), and the evening featured performances by Affrilachian Poets Asha French and Jeremy Paden, the Good River String Band, and S.G. Goodman.

Although this event is past, the celebration continues on!

Self-parking is available on the paved/gravel lot outside the Waterfront Botanical Gardens’ Graeser Family Education Center.
